Pick up from your Hotel in Nairobi after breakfast, we depart for Masai Mara through the dramatic Great Rift Valley. This enormous reserve is actually part of the vast Serengeti plains famously known for its spectacular great wildebeest’s migration and is home of the Big Five: Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo and Rhino. Lunch at Narok and proceed the camp or lodge, relax before departing for the afternoon game run. The Mara Game Reserve–one of the greatest wildernesses of the world. After breakfast we carry packed lunches and set off to search for great predators and perhaps even cubs continues today during extensive game runs. On the plains are enormous herds of grazing animals plus the elusive Cheetah and leopard hiding amidst acacia boughs. After breakfast, you will check out and head to a local village to learn the Maasai way of life. You will learn how to make a fire without matches, archery, spear throwing singing and dancing. Later we depart for Naivasha. for a boat ride getting up close to hippos and feeding the fish eagles while your guides teach you the bird calls and brief history of the lake. We will stop over at the Crescent Island for nature walk and hike. Lunch will be served on the way, you will arrive at the lodge in the evening. After breakfast, we will drive through Thompson Falls. There shall be a stop to view the scenic Thompson falls at Nyahururu. The drive through farming country and homesteads via equator with brief stopovers at the equator and Mount Kenya region before proceeding to the Samburu areas. Meanwhile, the local tribesmen of the Samburu in their colorful attire line along the roads carrying spears. The animal viewing starts on the Samburu National park reserve looking for sightings of the Beisa Oryx, Elephant, Gerenuks then the plains Lions . Other wildlife to see on this tour, include; Warthog, Hyena, Giraffe and unique bird-life which feature snake eagles and the other raptors. Morning breakfast then you head for an early start along the banks of the Uaso Nyiro River, viewing the crocodile and the resident Hippos along the swampy banks. The game drives into the Doum Palms and Tamarind forests will reveal the other rare animals, like the Masai Ostrich, the reticulated giraffe that feeds on the taller acacia trees. The Gerenuks on hind limbs nibbling away at the shorter trees and acacia bushes. For the birding safari enthusiasts, you may see the Secretary bird, Martial eagle picking up smaller antelope like the young Impala, similarly the Masai Ostrich and the Kori Bustard. This morning we rise early for good views of Mount Kilimanjaro before clouds build up over the summit, we set off for a game drive. Amboseli is an excellent place to view a multitude of wildlife, including everything from Wildebeest to Giraffes to Baboons. You will have your breakfast before you start a game drive. You will visit the different sections of the park especially the loop side of the park which is swampy and most animals are found there. Visit the pipeline area where most of elephants gather, since there are lots of water holes to do mud bathing. Next, you will visit the Lugard Falls and Yatta Plateau. You will go on an early morning game drive to capture the sunrise. It is a good chance to see the big cats while they are hunting, especially lions. After that, you will have your breakfast before leaving Tsavo East National Park. Then we depart for the Voi SGR station to catch the morning train to Mombasa where you will arrive at 14:00hr meet our driver who will drive you to Diani.
